ActiveCore is a blog about Anime, Manga and JPop. Mostly.
Originally going under the name of TheAlchemyLab over on Blogger I decided to take blogging slightly more seriously and make the leap to WordPress. The name ActiveCore has no real significance, it’s just a domain name that I bought a few years back as I liked it.
Now, about this blog. If you are coming here expecting to find in detail reviews and plot explanations of the latest shows then you may be disappointed, I prefer to write ‘from the heart’ with my opinions and discussion about a series or episode. I will however endeavour to right some sort of plot guide line for the episodes I discuss in depth.
I also intend to review some Manga, when I can afford to buy some more, as well as Japanese Music which I enjoy. I will probably just talk about random releases that I have just got rather than going out to find the latest stuff, but obviously If I have something new I will blog it.
On a more personal note, I have been a fan of anime for over 10 years now but have only more recently got in to manga and jpop (I use jpop to refer to any Japanese music, not just pop). I enjoy casual writing and drawing along with the usual pursuits of online gaming and occasionally eating. I am unfortunately rather lazy and I have a full time job, so if I don’t post every day please don’t be mad.
After a huge hiatus ActiveCore is returning with a new look. I have also recruited a friend to help me out, he’ll be posting under the highly original name of GenericIndividual. Hopefully everyone will like the new look and the new content.
